Randall's Island Info

DIRECTIONS

THE GREATEST CITY ON EARTH IS ALSO ONE OF THE MOST ACCESSIBLE!

With your choice of several airports, train stations galore and easy access via car, taxi, ferry, bus and bike, you have no excuse not to hit the road and head to FarmBorough Festival. In case you need a head start, here’s a map to help you plan and get you going. Giddy up!

PARKING & ACCESS TO FARMBOROUGH FESTIVAL:

We strongly encourage taking public transportation to ease congestion on Randall’s Island Park; however, if you do choose to drive, there is parking available within walking distance of the FarmBorough site (see ‘Park It’).
Please note: Illegal parking on Randall’s Island Park fields, recreational land or any place not clearly marked as a designated parking area is strictly prohibited and may result in a fine of no less than $60 and/or a criminal court summons.

ABOUT RANDALL’S ISLAND PARK:

An oasis in the middle of New York City, Randall’s Island Park comprises most of an island in the East River, between East Harlem, the South Bronx and Astoria, Queens. The Park has undergone a remarkable transformation in recent years, bringing it out of disrepair due to Manhattan construction debris and transforming it once again into one of the city’s main recreation hubs.

RANDALL'S ISLAND PARK IS ACCESSIBLE BY:

Note that the X80 express bus does not accept monthly MetroCards, so please plan accordingly!
